PRODUCT DESCREPTION 

Omnipure K-Series Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) with KDF-55 redox media are designed to reduce heavy metals, control bacteria and algae growth and remove chlorine taste & odor. Use of the KDF55 media in combination with GAC significantly extends the life of filter cartridges. KDF55 redox media are bacteriostatic and inhibit the growth of microorganisms in the filter. The Omnipure K Series GAC/KDF-55 filter cartridges are available in two diameter of 2” and 2.5” and lengths of 6”, 8”, 10”, 12” and 14”. They are a perfect choice for beverage equipment, RO systems, drinking fountains, ice machines, food industries, and other point-of-use applications.

• Media: GAC and KDF-55 (KDF 55 Media are designed specifically for removing or reducing chlorine and water-soluble heavy metals. It controls scale, bacteria and algae)
• Fine filtration of treated drinking water to ingredient water quality
• Helps standardize beverage quality at disparate locations

• Maximum Pressure: 125 PSI
• Temperature: 30-100°F (2-38°C)
• Threaded fittings must be wrapped with Teflon tape before installation
• Install Teflon taped fittings and tighten firmly
• Flush new cartridge with 5 gallons of water prior to use and check for leaks.
• Replace cartridge when rated capacity is reached, or when flow becomes too slow
• Install in compliance with state and local laws and regulations
