PRODUCTINFORMATION

MATRIKX® CTO® filters, powered by GREENBLOCK®, are made from 100% coconut shell carbon, a renewable, and ecologically sustainable material. The carbon is processed into blocks using a unique binder system and proprietary manufacturing techniques to produce filters with a greater number of micro-pores and available carbon surface area, which display superior adsorption capacity and kinetic dynamics.

MATRIKX® Pb1 powered by Greenblock 0.5 Micron Carbon Block Filters are manufactured from extruded activated carbon media for Lead, Cyst, Turbidity and Chlorine reduction. Unlike the most granular activated carbon (GAC) filters the Pb1 series cartridges will not channel or by pass. Service life of the Pb1® filters are greatly extended by a pre-f­iltration medium MATRIKX® Pb1® filter cartridges are excellent choice for many residential and commercial applications. They are tested and certified by WQA to NSF/ANSI 42 for material requirements. Available in five sizes: 2-3/4" x 9-3/4", 2-3/4" x 20", 4-1/2" x 9-3/4" and 4-1/2" x 20".
