Purtrex are economical multi-purpose depth sediment filters made from thermally bonded polypropylene fibers. The GE Purtrex sediment filter cartridges have exceptional value for residential and commercial applications where high purity, long life, and low change-out frequency are required. GE certifies that it uses no resin binders, lubricants, antistatic or release agents, in the manufacturing process of these cartridges. Purtrex filters cartridges meet the FDA standards for food and beverage contact. They are NSF tested and certified for material requirements. The Purtrex 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30, 50 and 75 microns filters are available in one 2.5” diameter and nine lengths. (9-3/4”, 9-7/8”, 10”, 19-1/2”, 20”, 29-1/4”, 30”, 40” and 50”)
