Aries AF Radial Flow Carbon Filter Cartridges

Activated carbon media has a remarkable absorptive capacity for removing Sediment, Chlorine Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and other chemicals. When water passes through the carbon filter cartridge many contaminants in the water are bonded at a molecular level to the carbon media and are effectively removed from the water. Carbon particles have a large surface area, allowing a small amount of activated carbon to efficiently filter a large volume of water. Aries FilterWorks Radial Flow Cartridges are designed to reduce chlorine taste and odor for residential and commercial applications. The Radial Flow (water flows from outside into the centre of the filter cartridge) will generate lower pressure drop at a high flow ratio. Aries RC Series cartridges are manufactured with a porous, polypropylene, 90 micron outer shell and a 25 micron inner spiral wound core. The RC Series filter cartridges are filled with premium ResinTech High Capacity Granular Activated Carbon which has been pH stabilized with an acid wash rinse. All components are made of FDA approved materials for drinking water applications. The RC filters are available in two sizes: 4.5” x 10” and 4.5” x 20”.
